Enter Ewron

The woman floating in the machine in here is screaming as she is held aloft in the air by magical tendrils

There are doors on the left and right of this room but both closed

There are called [[Nagpa]]'s

One one closest has a ivory skull staff and points it at us and casts fireball

The one in the back casts wall of fire blocking our direct path to this arcane machine

We feel this warp in the air and a wall of force blasts out in all directions, we all take a bunch of force damage as it hits us

[[Jojo]] flexes his muscles and drags 2 of us down the hallway

We see a man in a cage in the back patiently watching what these bird dudes are doing. A wide brim hat, circular glasses with a poncho on. Hes patiently sitting watching all the chaos of the situation.
We see this man just poof and disappear.

[[Aiylah]] and [[Eofos]] both fail their saves and are still paralyzed

Another pulse wave goes off, but only hurting the people in the room.

They hear one of them say "Bring the shard, were almost out of time!"
With the pulse through the room the woman floating screams out in pain

This man in the back blinks back into existence and casts a large spell

Another large wave of power shoots off, the woman screams out in pain again

"Feed her the shard!" one of the bird things yell

[[Fuligo]] sees one of them lifting this large sword into the side of this arcane machine

3 sickly purple rays of necrotic damage shoot out at [[Fuligo]], all easily hitting [[Fuligo]]

[[Fuligo]] takes 96 damage of necrotic damage while a tiger, blasting them back into their main form, then blasting them to 0 hp

One of the birds with the sword takes it and places it inside the arcane machine

As [[Eadith]] rounds the corner, as the shard is fed into this machine, cracks begin to appear along the womans skin, black markings. The sizzle of arcane energy in the air is growing as they are feeding the sword into it.
She casts Mass Cure Wounds to heal everyone around her as much as she can, bringing [[Fuligo]] alive again.

[[Jojo]] gets near and throws a dagger at the closest, sinking into their body.
"You will not stop us on our mission to destroy her!"

[[Ewron]] in the back appears again and pulls a gauntlet off his hand. His arm is not flesh looking, but more wood and vines as he lashes out and it extends out to the nearest bird dude, casting thorn whip.

Another pulse goes off, knocking [[Fuligo]] unconscious again.

[[Eofos]] is back in the mix here, he runs up and casts Healing Word and Bardic Inspiration for [[Eadith]]

[[Jojo]] gets Feeble Mind cast on him, dropping his Int and Cha to 1

The shard gets put into the machine, i starts to buzz and the woman begins to crack open, the cracks in the skin shoot a sort of negative light across the room
As the hilt of the sword is fed, cracks start to form into the machine itself. The largest blast of energy begins to gather, a ball of swirling light and tendrils forms above this machine and detonates, hitting everyone here.

Those who succeeded take 17 pts of force damage
The rest take 37 pts of damage
Us outside the room take half that

[[Eofos]] and [[Eadith]] both drop down

[[Eofos]] has the [[Dolathar’s Doll]] on him so he is in a stable condition

[[Jojo]] runs over and puts a bit of healing into [[Fuligo]] with Lay on Hands and picks them up and runnnsssssss

The birds took the damage, but made it through the big force.
They lost concentration on the fire wall though

The bird creatures are cackling now, elated that they have succeeded in what ever they have done.

The woman is a sort of negative energy now floating above, still some kind of presence in that space. We can still hear her screaming, but its like its coming from another room almost.

[[Ewron]] decides to walk into this swirling force of arcane energy of where this woman was. Failed a wisdom save and took 65 points of psychic damage, knocking him unconscious.
He is inside the arcane machine now, stuck, someone would have to step in to physically pull him out.

[[Fuligo]] casts Blight on one of them, but it doesnt do too much.

One of them screeches "AHHH get them out get them out!" rushing over to [[Ewron]] who is inside the machine lol
They reach in, the feathers on their arms have been fully desiccated away, leaving bones, hes screaming in pain

The ceiling of the room begins to spiral open, dropping in drips down is thick viscous red blood

Descending from this, is the skeleton of the bird like creature with skeletal wings. As it opens its mouth we hear a resonant female voice
"You think it would have been that easy to trap me after all these years. I wish you the best of luck, dead"
This creature opens its beak and sprays acid directly at the one on the corner of the platform.
From behind [[Aiylah]] 2 smaller winged beast skeletons scrabble past and into the chamber.

[[Jojo]] is feeble minded now, ouch, so he doesnt really do much

[[Ewron]] definitely takes some damage and takes a death fail.

[[Fuligo]] is dead set on destroying this machine and killing these guys since they are the source of the earthquakes.

One of the bird guys says "You Raven bitch!" and hits something on the arcane machine and sends a blast of power up into the bone creature
One of the wings of the creature gets blasted off, the bones scattering as they are thrown across the ground.

The other bird casts Feeble Mind on [[Eadith]], but she counter spells it, utilizing the inspiration from [[Eofos]] to squeak by on the save.

The two smaller bone creatures plow into this room, flying up into the air directly to the bad bird guys, scratching and shooting acid at them.

We hear from the big bone bird "If you're looking to break your curse you should welcome this death coming to you"
The bid bird takes multiple swings at them then, slashing at this bad bird

[[Eadith]] feels like the air in this room has become hard to cast spells in here.

[[Aiylah]] rolls a nat 20 and officially breaks out of the paralyze 7 rounds in lol

[[Fuligo]] shoots an acid arrow towards one of them, missing, but splashing a bit of acid onto them, hurting a bit.

[[Jojo]] unfortunately gets charmed by the birds, possibly the most confused anyone has ever been in the history of DND

The bad bird takes one step and disappears from view totally.

The restrained bird in the back casts fireball and blows up [[Fuligo]] and [[Jojo]], knocking them down again.

[[Eadith]] feeds [[Fuligo]] some good berries to bring [[Fuligo]] back to life. [[Eadith]] casts Vortex Warp on [[Ewron]], bringing them out of the arcane machine.

[[Ewron]] takes his last breath, and dies as he fails his last saving throw.

[[Aiylah]] sprints into battle, seeing one of the bad guys at a distance and sneaks a single crossbow bolt through the machine, hitting the bad bird. Hitting for 25 damage, finishing this bird guy off.

[[Eofos]] is down and stable, [[Ewron]] is dead, [[Jojo]] is unconscious, one [[Nagpa]] disappeared, the other is dead. We see the outline of an individual in the arcane machine which is still running.

[[Fuligo]] casts Revivify on [[Ewron]], bringing him back conscious

The bone birds collapse into piles of bones.

[[Eofos]] gets fed 3 good berries, bringing him back alive.

[[Eadith]] casts mass cure wounds again, healing up everyone.

The arms coming up from this structure are crystalline, we can see where the shard/sword was placed into this machine, sinking deeper over time.

[[Ewron]] becomes patched up with leaves and vines, not healing in the most natural way.

[[Aiylah]] finds a gold medallion thats hooked to a chain on the one dead bird guy. She hasnt ever seen it before.

[[Eofos]] is now studying [[Jojo]], realizing he is so brain dead rn lol

[[Eofos]] sits with him and makes sure he doesnt wander off.

[[Eadith]] starts investigating some papers on the desks.

[[Eadith]] finds the name of this machine, the [[Laqueus Deorum]]
They built it on their own accord to trap the [[Raven Queen]] and kill her. It looks like they have been also keeping track of different magical items they have been feeding into the machine in order to draw her into it.
This certainly is the source of the earthquakes.
If you feed too many magical objects into a machine like this, it will destabilize.
It seems this last object, the sword/shard, has stabilized it.

[[Eadith]] is very annoyed with how there are no safety guards for this experiment.

[[Aiylah]] reaches out to the [[Raven Queen]], trying to see if she is still in this space. She doesnt respond directly, but [[Aiylah]] gets the idea that she wants to bury the bones of the skeleton birds around here.
It seems like the person in this machine isnt the [[Raven Queen]], the [[Nagpa]]'s may have gotten it wrong.

[[Fuligo]] casts message at the person floating to see if they can get in contact with them at all.
They respond
"My name is [[Shai Paren]]"

We ask what we can do, they say they cant be saved

She doesnt understand how they manifested her there

[[Fuligo]] asks if they are a god

"I was once, a god."

"I have been dead for a long long time."

She says that removing the sword would help probably.

Theres no face, no eyes on her face, but it turns to [[Aiylah]]
"If you remove this from the machine, the shard shall be yours. I do not understand how this functions."

[[Eofos]], [[Eadith]], and [[Jojo]] start to head out so we dont get blasted possibly by this machine

[[Ewron]] says
"You may have killed one, but there are two more, not 1 more."

[[Aiylah]] and [[Fuligo]] stay with this machine, [[Ewron]] at a distance
[[Aiylah]] reaches in, pulling at the sword, slowly sliding out like a sheath
The ball of energy starts to move faster and faster

The form says "I will try to hold it"

As she pulls on the sword and there is almost a moment of statis, one tendril of this figures energy shoots out and hits the hilt of the sword. Beneath her hands it starts to heat and glow as she yells, trying to contain within herself the energy exploding outwards. Some of that energy is directed to the sword.
This purple light shoots down the hilt through the tip of the sword, swirling around the metal engraving along the sword.
As she pulls it fully out of the machine, the energy almost start bursts, shooting around and pulsing against the stone and marble of this room.
All of the energy coalesces in the sword all of a sudden, the energy within the machine dissipates, the only light is now coming from the rapier, shining in the room.

The machine is now inactive, all of the arcane energy within it was funneled into [[Aiylah]]'s sword instead of being exploded. It could be made non inert by putting more magical items into it.

[[Fuligo]] starts casting mold earth and destroying the machine the best they can to make sure this machine is never used again. The start out very measured to find what pieces they can break, but eventually starts whipping and tearing away at it with vines as fungus is sprouting from the dead bodies, the stone being ground into nothing else.

[[Aiylah]] lets them go for a while, but eventually puts a hand on their back to calm them down a bit and let them know they are there.

Eventually finally, [[Fuligo]] destroys the whole thing. Alone now with only [[Aiylah]], satisfied at the destruction of this machine.

"Your god is the [[Raven Queen]] queen and cares for the dead? If she ever gets a moment, can you ask her if my son is happy, if hes okay?"
"Im sure he is, and Im sure he was very well loved"
"Knowing this thing cant hurt my family makes me feel better, but it was so far away. The world is so much bigger than I thought and there are things that can hurt my family that I had no way of conceiving. Im glad you are here and Im glad to have made friends. Im glad that my world is bigger so I can do what I need to protect the ones I love."

[[Fuligo]] goes up to look at the other doors in this space. They are both locked.

They check for traps and try to pick the lock. Its magically held together.

The front door to the monastery is open as we come up the stairs.
Theres some blood trail leading that way but disappears after the door.

We all regroup at the garden courtyard space to take a long rest.

[[Aiylah]] takes the bones she gathered and buries them in the courtyard here.

We are in the hut and taking a long rest.

[[Eadith]] and [[Ewron]] have a chat
They introduce themselves to each other. He was only down there for 3 days, just long enough to learn what they were up to.
She isnt going to drill him with questions, but explains what we were doing here and asks why he was here.
He asks, Who sent you?
The [[Marauders]] Guild, who sent you?
I sent myself, I am a professor of archeology, looking for artifacts, that they were destroying
Were you looking for a specific artifact?
Not in particular.
Will you go back home now?
I am not welcome home.
Ah. You are a professor? Are you connected to a school?
Indeed, not really a school though, more like an archive.
But there is a group of you
Sure, a big group
Will you go back to them
No, not for a while
What will you do now?
We will move on to other things, our leader has some issues to sleep off (Feeble mind lol)
You are not curious about the rest of these ruins?
They are interesting, ourone friend is connected to this place. Are you religious as a professor?
Not really, I study, but no.
I just wanted to offer you could come into the hut if you want for safety. There are invisible creatures that are kinda tracking us down that might attack us.
I think we are all very tired, if you want to discuss more, I will accept your invitation.

We heal [[Jojo]] up thank god, hes no longer feeble minded

We chat and suss out the vibes of this new person we met.

He suggests a deal, we stay as a group and he can help with sharing his information of relics and ruins.

We should stick together and explore more of the ruins in this space, he could help direct us through them.

We go down back into the chamber

[[Eadith]] dispels the lock on the door.

There is a similar hallway, doors on either side, and the illusion of the wall at the end. We have been here before already.

[[Ewron]] starts to figure out that this space was made for the worship of the [[Raven Queen]], but was repurposed for the [[Nagpa]]
Hes able to ascertain the age of this building, about 400-450 years old. He also knows no nation would have made it, but a private organization.

We loop around through these hallways, tracking through space we havent been before.

[[Ewron]] casts Unseen Servant and sends it in front of us to check for traps and try for the locked door.

We follow behind at a safe distance.

We come into a 15 foot diameter circular room. It has shelves along the walls, it has been ransacked, there are glass shards on the ground tapestries on the ground.
[[Aiylah]] finds 10 gemstones, 2 potions, and a necklace with a small birds beak on it.

We continue along our way, checking other rooms out.
[[Ewron]] says he is looking for several items. He is from the [[Archive of Tance]].
Says [[Illerage]] is his next lead, looking for some ruins around that area.

We go down the hallway with stairs.

The unseen servant is sent first. [[Ewron]] following behind.

When he gets down to the end of the stairs, there is a sound behind us as a stone wall slides over the entrance as around a corner down the stairs a sound happens and a flash of bright blue light behind us.

[[Jojo]] goes down, careful not to step off the stairs, there are a couple small octagonal inlays on the stone.

[[Eadith]] shoots an eldritch blast at both of the octagons and their magic dissipates.
Every 15 feet or so theres another octagon on the wall and [[Eadith]] dispatches them as we go along.

They just sprint through like bozos and take a bunch of hits from this trap lol

They flip it off and make it safe for the rest of us.

Go through another door and come into a room that has a low hum in it. The walls are marbled purple and white, plaques and a drawer of sorts
A few indentations, a vase, a box.
There is a calm solemn presence in this room.

A Leap of Faith

We have arrived to [[Crowcairn Monastery]]!!

Straight ahead at the end of this path, a massive building

Old but strangely not too badly kept, the forest has started to take over the facade of the stone

Light green vines sprawling across the dirt with ivy leaves and dark green buds

[[Fuligo]] peeks his head out from behind the group and walks up to a bunch of flowers
As they approach, the petals pulse and release a yellow musky cloud around it
They resist its effects seemingly though

[[Eadith]] casts mage hand and pokes it, doesnt really do much though

[[Fuligo]] sees the flower has moved a bit towards them...
They hear the sound of flowering growth and behind all of us and a puff of yellow spores encapsulates all of us, but nothing seems to happen for us...
Its a very musky smell

[[Fuligo]] casts speak with plants - Hello friend flower, my name is [[Fuligo]] how are you today?
Tired... bored....
Is there a game or something that you like to play over here?
No....

[[Fuligo]] pulls some pocket dirt and seeds and the such and presents them

I find you being here interesting....
I like to think Im cool myself, you seem interesting!
Interesting....
I havent had many plant friends before!

They continue back and forth, the flower they reaches out and caresses [[Fuligo]]'s face, taking 14 points of psychic damage

Roll initiative!

We see that another couple flowers have cropped up matching the amount of people in our party

[[Jojo]] is slashing through these plants, they are dense and the plant continues to withstand his attacks

[[Aiylah]] hides behind [[Eofos]] to sneak attack

The flowers on their turn move 5 feet each lol one of them pulses and strengthens itself, regenerating some hit points

The flowers pulse another cloud of spores, charming [[Eofos]] and [[Aiylah]]
[[Eadith]] runs over and chooses to slap [[Aiylah]] and shake her loose of the charm

[[Fuligo]] tries to pull the doors open, the budge a little but they feel locked to them

[[Jojo]] slashes down a flower bunch, it withering back into the dirt

[[Aiylah]] runs up to the door to try to get it unlocked, but is unable to get it fully picked

[[Eofos]] casts his Counter Charm to try to try to keep anyone from getting charmed

[[Aiylah]] takes another pass at the lock and gets it fully unlocked

We all rush into the doors and close them behind us

Silence permeates this space now
No bird sounds, no insects, no footsteps

Its completely silent

Some sunlight

We are in the foyer to the [[Crowcairn Monastery]]

Tall, high ceiling that rises into a point

A pointed archway in front that seems to lead to a interior vestibule space

[[Fuligo]] sneaks up to the arch and peers around

[[Aiylah]] walks up and pulls the main doors open
The room has no windows, the furthest region is so dark we cant see the far side, the ceiling is 100 feet or so high
It holds these huge carved wings that flank a hexagonal pool of something that is completely still in the center of this room
There is the smell of old rot and something metallic

[[Aiylah]] gives [[Eofos]] a lantern thankfully so he can see in this space

As [[Eofos]] enters the room, he holds the lantern up to light the room
The pool is a dark rich red

There is a large avian skeleton on the far side of the room
Its hard to tell what led it to this point, whether it died naturally or in battle or was brought here

Outside of the decay of this creature, there is surprisingly no dust on the ground in this space

[[Eofos]] is very much on edge, looking around very nervously keeping an eye out

This pool of blood does have steps that lead down into it on the front side

We all walk out of this room and follow [[Fuligo]] to one of the other doors in the foyer.

[[Fuligo]] pushes open a door with a busted lock and looks inside

Its a hallway with doors on either side.

[[Aiylah]] looks through this space in [[Thrynn]]'s eyes, mapping out this space, seeing many doors, a garden, a sitting room, and no other signs of life.

She leads us to the sitting room
All the books in here are fiction
One open on the ground, some on a table, some on a shelf

No dust in here, but on the chair and in front of it a pile of gritty ash

There are tea cups with liquid still in it

[[Eofos]] sees [[Fuligo]] split from the group and [[Eadith]] and [[Aiylah]] investigating the room
He gets their attention and leads them into the garden

The garden is outside, and we can hear ourselves again

The windows next to the other door in this space has the following designs:
A tree with a flock of birds in its branches
The other has a pair of wings with drops coming off of them

We talk about [[Aiylah]] walking into the pool of blood

We decide to take a rest here for a bit. Short rest

The sun begins to set, and we see a faint light emanating from the designed windows with the door in this courtyard.

This room has a variety of trinkets in it, some just slightly moving from being precariously balanced pieces

There is a bust of a woman on the shelf, a human woman

There is a spilled inkpot on the desk with a couple pieces of parchment and another pile of ash in the chair behind the desk
However many years its been here, the parchment is still flexible and not brittle

[[Jojo]] is in the garden ritually casting detect magic

The parchment on the desk has some very interesting writing on it
NEED TO MAKE SOME LINKS TO THIS INFO HERE

[[Jojo]] looks around with his detect magic and sees that the bust is magical.
There is a small blue magical flame in here that the glow was coming from.

We decide that [[Aiylah]] should walk into the pool of blood

As we get to the vestibule area the floor has opened to large staircase going down

[[Thrynn]] flies down the stairs and sees a pillar lined corridor, unlit torches and sconces, an iron chandelier, and a door at the other end

[[Aiylah]] takes her shoes off and walks into the pool of blood, walking down as far as she can, dipping her head under it
The blood is room temp

Eyes shut, feeling it soak into her around her

Shes down there for an amount of time in which she has to breath, so she does, breathing in blood
Eyes shooting open, the fear of drowning grasps her
As the eyes open she finds herself hanging, suspended in mid air in a black as night room
The blood dripping from her body

Suspended, cant move, but just hanging

Its quiet, but no the magical silence, a droning room tone in her ears

A light bursts in the distance, but also feeling so close. A deep reddish orange.
In front of it fully in shadow, a woman, thin, long hair, but like 75 feet tall
[[Aiylah]] is so high in the air, seeing the full scale of her size, dwarfed but on her level, unable to see her features
Through the droning tone, whispers of the dead emerge through the room

A voice says "You have come to commune with me [[Aiylah]]"

She quaintly nods

"What of me do you wish?"
"I dont...I dont think I want anything from you. I, I am a fan, I have felt drawn to you in a way."
"I have felt you. But if you are here with me now, there must be something that you want."
"We came here because there are earthquakes-"

lights pop up in her peripheral, not covered in blood, images of her fellow travelers, like faint illusions

"Is this the 'we' you speak of?"
"Yeah those are my friends"

The images fade

"But only you came here"
"We didnt mean to disturb or trespass"
"Where ever you were, you are not there anymore. I do not exist within the walls of those who follow me have made for me. I dont own that place. I am not offended by your arrival there or here"
"Where are we?"
"An inbetween, neither here nor there, someplace we can talk. So youve just come to say hello?"
"We came to search for answers, to know where the earthquakes are coming from because they are hurting our world"
"I have siblings who have more control of the weather than I. I dont know what earthquakes you speak."
"Someone ascended here? I know very little, but this place intrigues me"
"You are not ready for that"
"I know, I have always been interested by you and death and I -"

"Uh well, my mom was killed and she was, I dont know, touched by the gods in some way. So I hear her speak to me and I hear voices and whispers sometimes."
"She is dead, your mother. Is it her who speaks to you really?"
"I thought so, I heard my brother speak to me as well"
"Your mother is dead and your brother has died"
"What do you mean by that..."
"Both of them have experienced the moment in my embrace, and only 1 has stayed"
"Okay, okay...so my mother stayed, so she is here?"
"No, she is gone"
"I dont know what I want or what I seek or what I could give you. This place is cool"

A heat warms in [[Aiylah]]s chest, a long thin strand of gold extends to a gloved finger of this woman

"Ive taken lives before they are meant to be taken."

"It is the thread of you, yes, but I hold many"

She shakes and multiple hands emerge, with thousands upon thousands of threads connecting

They disappear...

"I appreciate that, I am nervous to come down here, this is very new for me. But, I wanted to, a friend called it a leap of faith and I wanted to see for myself I guess. Is there something you want from me? Something I could give or do"
"I will not take your life, but you could find your soul to me such that I dont hold it in my hand, but that I hold it as mine"
"What would that mean to me?"
"Nothing of great import, besides your faith, a deeper connection to me, and messages from your mother will become less confusing than they have been"
"Yeah... okay"

[[Aiylah]]s thread illuminates again, but connects to her chest, a silver beam extends now and envelops around her gold strand, suffocating it until they are one, the strand becoming a blue color.

"You have made an offer and I have accepted so there is no return, so go forth"
"Thank you... how do I see you again"
"On the brinks of places, things, is where Im most easily communicated with, but I can feel your life force now, and may haps, Ill send for you. Your mother was devout, I expect the same. It was a pleasure-"

[[Aiylah]] is pulled back to the real world and bursts from the blood gasping for air

She gains a level in Cleric!
In this moment she has also received the [[Blessing of the Raven Queen]]

From our perspective she was down there for like 10 minutes

[[Thrynn]] has been sitting at the highest point watching the blood below and stirs now as [[Aiylah]] coming up

We all make our way to the garden so we can talk.

We hear it before we feel it, the shaking the rumbling of the earth, very loud, very close, pressure in our ears from a force we cannot see, then it dissipates

We step back into the monastery to where the floor opened to the stairs

The hall is empty, the ceiling isnt too high here, about 20 feet, and its dark

As we come off the stairs into this space the wall sconces all light with black flames that dont actually give off any light, but the people with dark vision can see ghostly apparitions

As our feet hit the ground, we can hear our steps again!

Roll initiative!

When these guys attack us, they sap our strength from us
[[Eofos]] gets hit so a -2 to strength
[[Jojo]] gets hit the same 2 times for a -4 strength
[[Eadith]] gets hit and gets a -1

We cut through all the apparitions in no time

As we are walking up, a net drops from the chandelier tangling [[Fuligo]] lol they immediately get themselves tangled up worse

[[Aiylah]] touches the door and immediately triggers a trap lol spurting fire at her

She pushes the door open, seeing some scorch marks on the ground from the trap before

There is a hallway, the floor is stone with purples and blues and silvers mixed into it. Foot steps have smoothed it over the years.

We walk down to a T section of the hallway, with a door on our right.

The door is open on the right, we walk in

The interior is covered in rugs and pillows - reds and purples and grays and blacks
No furniture in here
A bowl stained brown in the middle of the room

We continue down the right hallway to a seemingly dead end, but as [[Aiylah]] inspects it her hands go right through it

The rest of the hallway continues, there are more doors at the end

We go through the door to the right
Its the same kind of room we saw earlier, set up the same with a stained bowl in the center

The room on the left is the same about, but the bowl was knocked over and the brown stain spilling on the ground.

Theres another door from this room, that leads to more hallway

[[Aiylah]] sends [[Thrynn]] down the hallway and is caught by a trap, hitting something and moving very slowly, the feathers starting to disintegrate until there are just bones floating in the jelly

[[Aiylah]] rushes forward to try to save them, she makes the save from this gelatinous wall

She reaches through the jelly to try to grab the remains of her bird

Roll initiative!

We start bashing this cube

[[Eadith]] casts Friarball and a construct of a friar flies towards it and blows it up lol

[[Eadith]] casts Resurrection on [[Thrynn]] from the magic staff she is attuned to

He comes back to life!
[[Thrynn]] says "Thank you, she did give me back to you I think"

Moving past the cube now, there is an iron door at the end of the hall

There is an arcane trap on this door, Arcane Lock
[[Eadith]] casts dispel magic and poofs it away

We push through the door.....

On the other side.....

We walk into a room, a large room, hexagonal chamber that matches in dimension the pool [[Aiylah]] had entered above

There are 2 hunched bird like creatures covered in tattered rags.
A huge arcane machine glowing, force waves pulsing out around us.
Light is coalescing up and through the arms of this machine and we see within it, held by some sort of magic in a state of silent distressing pain, a young woman. In the back of this room a cell with a man inside of it.

One of the creatures turns towards us and paralyzes the majority of us

We hear a screeched voice from this bird, "Hurry up hurry up they're here!"
