Description

Settled by the elves escaping the persecution of The Elven Blood War, it is named after Wyendyl Eduron, the leader of the resistance that wasn’t bent to either side but working to stop the war in its tracks. He worked out a system to funnel out the innocent to the Realm of Wruitros to save their lives.

This is a city of waterfalls and bridges, disconnected across the mountainside, but joined with innovation. Aqueducts run throughout, bringing water through the city for all to use. The city is riddled with small animals (birds, squirrels, the like) that carry messages throughout Eduron. The waterfalls here glow with soft blue light at night.

Government

In the stead of one monarch as the elves had been used to since Etraria was conceptualized, the founders created The Sidian Council, the governing force that would keep the city of Eduron and future settlements organized. Once the Elven Blood War was won, Lyra Fenyra, daughter to King Adamar and rebel leader, took a place on the council.

Crime & Defense

Gisiae (The Guardians) are the highly trained militaristic force that resides within the Highlands. Each elven community has a fraction of the soldiers for protection, but the majority are stationed at points throughout the Highlands, guarding their borders. They patrol the pass the connects Ghendarhm to the interior of The Highlands. The Midnight Rangers roam the wilderness with their beasts, protecting Fallpond from natural threats.

Commerce

The Sidian Council is concerned with maintaining its trade relations with the autocratic ruling family of Gadena and its surrounding holdings, as well as the northern cities of The Crosthold Shoreline and Ghendarhm. Though mostly on pleasant footing, there have been small skirmishes and disagreements over the proximity of Fort Greenburn to the Fallpond Thicket. The Midnight Rangers, artisans, and hunters who rely on the woods have found that their territory is being overtaken by those residing at the Fort, an outpost of the city of Gadena.
