Description
Illeridge is the sister city to Fallevin. While all of the fighters and soldiers drifted to that city to be trained by The Fellowship, the more scholarly and arcane minded individuals came to Illeridge to attend the offshoot of the Braediara Institute, Illeridge Knot, and use the attached library.
The city was built so close to the mountains, that some of it was built into the side of the mountain. Unlike Fallevin which is built of stone like a fortress, Illeridge is brick and wrought iron gates. Lampposts are scattered around the city, filled with small, blue, continual flames. The streets are cobblestone and well kept.
Government
Justicar Lebuin Goodsong is not only the appointed head of the city, but also Chaplain Goodsong, a devout worshipper of The Platinum Dragon. Though there is no outright religious persecution in Gadena, anyone is free to worship any of The Soul Gods, there is a hard leaning in Illeridge toward The Platinum Dragon.
Crime & Defense
The Peace Reserve is stationed here to keep the peace. Mercenaries from The Fellowship are hired. A small regiment of the Iron Reserve.
Commerce
Strong mining industry as its located so close to the mountains. The makers of a lot of weapons, armor. Has to ship in most of its goods from The Triangle.
Geography
Cloudrise Ward
The uppermost part of this city where the mountain slopes down at a gradual pace an the paths wind through the rock, connecting the homes that are built into the stone face.
Greenfast Village
This village is located about a day’s travel north. It’s not up in the the mountain range but located in a valley farther into the mountains. It is not an official settlement of Gadena and though it has a mayor, they are under the control of Illeridge.
